Our services

Oral Surgery

From impacted wisdom teeth to bone grafting before implants, our surgical team performs oral surgery with precise planning, effective anaesthesia and careful aftercare.

Overview

Oral surgery covers procedures that go beyond routine dental care: removing impacted or badly broken teeth, preparing the jaw for implants, treating cysts and infections, and correcting soft-tissue problems such as tongue-tie or gum overgrowth.

At Waly Dental Clinic surgical cases are planned with panoramic or 3D CBCT imaging so we know exactly where nerves, sinuses and roots lie. Procedures are performed under effective local anaesthesia, with sedation options for anxious patients on request.

You leave with written aftercare instructions, a direct line to the clinic, and a follow-up appointment to check healing.

Frequently asked questions

Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?
No. Wisdom teeth that have erupted fully, are healthy and can be cleaned may stay. Removal is advised when they are impacted, decayed, causing pain, damaging neighbouring teeth or forming cysts.
How long is recovery after a surgical extraction?
Most patients return to normal activities within two to three days. Swelling peaks around day two and settles within a week. Complete gum healing takes a few weeks.
Will I be awake during oral surgery?
Most procedures are done under local anaesthesia, so you are awake but feel no pain. For anxious patients or longer surgeries we can arrange sedation.
What is bone grafting?
Bone grafting adds bone material to areas of the jaw that have shrunk after tooth loss, creating enough support for a dental implant. It is a routine, well-tolerated procedure.
